Bonchon, the U.S. based-Korean fried-chicken brand, has announced the promotion of Greg Buchanan as chief administration officer (CAO) and Carrie Goff as the vice president of human resources.
Buchanan originally joined Bonchon in 2019 as the senior vice president of development, and brought many of the strategies that have led the brand to become one of the fastest-growing brands in its category.
In the new role, he will be heading up U.S. finance, accounting and supply chain teams in addition to leading franchise development, construction and real estate. Buchanan picked up much of experience working at TGI Friday’s, Darden and La Madeleine, prior to Bonchon.
“Greg has made a monumental impact on Bonchon as we work to expand the brand to 400 units in the U.S. by 2027. He has helped transform our business strategy, which played a huge role in our brand’s success throughout the challenging months of the pandemic,” said Flynn Dekker, CEO of Bonchon.
“We are grateful to have someone like Greg, who strongly believes in the mission of Bonchon, be a part of our executive team. We know that he will continue to lead Bonchon as we work to become one of the fastest-growing concepts in the U.S.”
Carrie Goff has also been promoted as the new vice president of human resources. Goff will continue working on bringing the best talent to the brand, as well as managing hybrid work environments and recruitment drives. Before joining Bonchon, Goff gained significant experience at Black Eyed-Pea, Texas Winds, Which Wich, and more.
“Carrie’s role will be key to the advancement of our team and mission as she pursues a series of positive changes including hiring top talent to fuel our growing brand,” said Dekker.
“She brings a wealth of experience, which will be a great benefit to Bonchon. We are thrilled to have her in this new role.”
