At Harry Ramsden’s, we have been serving up world-famous fish and chips since 1928. That’s over 90 years of experience! So, as you can imagine, we’re pretty good at it by now. During that time, fish and chips has remained a Great British favorite dish and we’re proud to have been dishing it up at incredible locations across the country, including our 420-seater restaurant in Bournemouth – one of the largest in the world!
Our recently refurbished £1.7m restaurant in Bournemouth pays homage to the second Harry Ramsden’s site in 1931 with complete with wall-to-wall fitted carpets, oak paneled walls and beautiful chandeliers. The Harry Ramsden’s restaurant was only second in glamour to The Ritz in London!
The new Bournemouth restaurant blends modern and art deco design into something quite simply stunning. In peak trading weeks this site will achieve over £250,000, with 10 tons of fish served per week. Our delicious, sustainably sourced fish, coated in our top-secret batter mix and fried to perfection, is partnered with light and fluffy British potatoes, creating a perfect meal fit for any occasion.

Franchise and licensing
As Harry Ramsden’s continues to strengthen its global presence, we are looking for experienced operators and master franchisors to open in major territories to franchise the brand to a wider audience.
Harry Ramsden’s has also launched the ‘Proudly Serving Harry Ramsden’s licensed model. Proudly serving allows larger chains such as holiday parks, tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels, bars and destination venues to serve their customers the world-famous Harry Ramsden’s fish and chips on their own menus with support from our world-class training team.
