Long-established fitness brand Gold’s Gym has entered into 18 new global franchise commitments and opened six new gyms in the US during the second quarter of this year.
International agreements include plans to develop eight new gyms in India, three in Japan, two in the Dominican Republic, one in the United Kingdom and one in Jordan.
Gold’s Gym will develop one new gym in each of the following U.S. cities: Mt. Pleasant, SC; Lake Charles, LA; and Middletown, NY.
The six new domestic grand openings in Q2 included Glendale, CA.; Riverdale, MD; Middle Island, NY; Edinburgh and El Paso, TX; and Gayton Crossing, VA.
