The American ice cream staple continues franchise growth efforts into the Copper State.
Häagen-Dazs is a name synonymous with delectable ice cream and premium quality. For decades, sweet-toothed consumers have enjoyed its velvety texture and varied flavorings over many frozen competitors. Now, as part of continual franchising developments, Arizonians can enjoy the brand’s icy treats.
December will see five grand opening festivals take place at the five new Häagen-Dazs Shops franchise locations throughout the state. They’re set to open in Old Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Glendale, and Chandler, and offer an immersive brand experience to shoppers looking for something fresh.
Häagen-Dazs Shops has partnered with Magnet Partners, a franchisee group with a rich history of restaurant operation, to bring its sweet offerings to Arizona.
“Magnet Partners was searching for a high-quality brand that offered the opportunity for rapid expansion; and we are excited to grow in the region with them,” said Adam Hanson, president of Häagen-Dazs Shoppe Company. Rob Schell, director of development, added: “With a brand like Häagen-Dazs, growth is always top of mind.”
Magnet Partners was equally enthusiastic about the upcoming openings. These are set to be the first five of 50 planned Häagen-Dazs Shops, which will pop-up all across Arizona and Texas.
“Magnet Partners has found an iconic and beloved brand with an amazing opportunity with Häagen-Dazs in the region,” said Luciano Almada, a partner at Magnet.
All five Häagen-Dazs Shops locations in Arizona will host grand opening ceremonies on Saturday, December 14, and are offering free scoops of ice cream for the first 500 guests.
