Franchise Update Media, the organizer of the 2020 Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, has stated that it will continue to track the events of the spread of coronavirus and will follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).
The conference will still proceed as scheduled, running from April 14-17, 2020 at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In a statement, the organization stressed that the health and well-being of its guests, clients, and team is its top priority.
Caesars Entertainment and Caesars Form are following all CDC guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Gary Gardner, chairman of Franchise Update Media, said: “At this point, we are moving forward with business as usual. Our Exhibit Hall is nearly sold out, with more than 260 exhibitors committed to date. Attendance to date is trending ahead of last year
“We’ve had conversations with speakers and panelists who are committed to the event at this time. We will continue to closely monitor the events related to COVID-19 and will comply with the recommendations of the CDC.
“Please be assured that our top concern is to ensure a safe and enriching event for everyone attending. We will keep all those involved well-informed as the situation evolves.”
