International coding school franchise Code Ninjas has launched its Code Ninjas Studio concept, which offers a more flexible business model with lower startup costs and scaled-back requirements.
Code Ninja Studio features reduced franchise fees and build-out requirements, coupled with lower overhead and staffing expenses, which the brand states enables prospective franchisees to get their business off the ground in a matter of weeks.
New franchisees also stand to benefit from the brand’s infrastructure, including development and support from in-house education, technology, operations and marketing teams.
Essentially, the studio business model offers prospective franchisees the chance to invest in the coding franchise at a fraction of the traditional cost.
The new model mitigates the need for business premises with extensive fit-out requirements, making it easier than ever for franchisees to get their business up and running. Instead, franchisees operate out of centrally located community centres, like libraries, schools and universities, keeping overheads low and profit margins high.
The franchisee still has complete access to the brand’s full offering of propriety programs and curriculum, meaning students progress through the same programme, with the same level of guidance from their instructors as they would through the traditional model.
David Graham, CEO and co-founder, said: “Libraries and schools are predominantly regarded as community hubs, so running sessions out of these sorts of locations means franchisees can capitalize on heavy footfall. Code Ninjas Studio is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to build a long-lasting and scalable business, that also makes a real change in their community. We’re very excited for this new venture.”
With minimal initial location fit-out, new franchisees can invest resources back into the marketing and set up of their new business. Once they’ve completed their virtual franchise training, franchisees can begin to host their coding sessions at a suitable location as approved by the head office, in their exclusive and protected territory.
