The global hotel franchisor is bringing one of its renowned brands to the U.K.’s primary international airport.
Radisson Hotel Group, the parent company of hotel brands such as Radisson Collection, Park Plaza, and Park Inn by Radisson, is opening its first Radisson-branded hotel in the U.K. with the upcoming launch of a new site at London Heathrow.
The new property features 258 bedrooms showcasing the bold design of the Radisson RED brand, with a further 600-plus following the Scandi-inspired Radisson brand style. Both brands are represented in a single new location.
“Introducing two new and vibrant brands to such an important international airport location is extremely exciting,” said Tom Flanagan Karttunen, area senior VP, Northern and Western Europe. “This is our first Radisson and second Radisson RED hotel to open in the U.K., which marks a major milestone for the company. The extensive transformation of the property meets the ever-changing and growing needs of our diverse customer base.”
Radisson RED London Heathrow features an executive lounge with complimentary drinks and refreshments, as well as a conference and events space suited for a variety of group sizes and requirements. The hotel also contains two multi-purpose conference centers and 41 meeting rooms.
The new location also abides by the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, announced in May 2020, to ensure the safety and peace of mind for both travelers and hotel staff.
