The country’s leading franchise association has pulled out all the stops throughout COVID-19.
The Swedish Franchise Association, one of the most prominent franchise associations in the Scandinavian region, has been committed to supporting and guiding Swedish franchisors throughout the course of the ongoing pandemic.
It has primarily done so by aggregating contacts and resources that will be indispensable to businesses on its site, via a dedicated page that has been updated on a continual basis.
The organization has also held a series of webinars and meetings, in which experts have been able to guide Swedish businesses on best practices and assured strategies to minimize the negative impact caused by the effects of COVID-19.
For ease of use, many of the useful resources featured on the Swedish Franchise Association’s website are presented in brief, with a quickfire description and then a contact that franchisors, franchisees, or investors should get in touch with to obtain further information.
Vital topics such as crisis management, liquidity management, legal issues, and branding are covered, and the page is updated regularly to reflect the agile approach of the association.
“During the spring, we gathered knowledge to help each other as much as possible. Our webinars had a multifaceted turnout where many actors, large and small, participated to learn from each other,” said Johan Martinsson, CEO of the Swedish Franchise Association. “It fascinates me how tight this group of people is. They care for each other and share knowledge between different systems. It’s an incredible strength to be a part of this type of collective when it storms”.
