Taffer’s Tavern multi-unit franchise partners sign lease to bring the full-service tavern concept to Boston.
Taffer’s Tavern has signed a deal with multi-franchise partners to bring a Taffer’s Tavern location to the new neighborhood located at Arsenal Yards, situated along the Charles River in Watertown, Massachusetts, a short distance from Boston. Taffer’s Tavern was chosen by Arsenal Yards’ team as it would complement the current dining experiences, boutique shops and entertainment offerings.
“We are very excited to welcome Taffer’s Tavern to our unique lineup of restaurants, retail and entertainment offerings here at Arsenal Yards,” said Gary Robinson, vice president, leasing at Wilder, developer of Arsenal Yards.
“It is one of many new additions to the Arsenal Yards neighborhood, and we know our local community will love Jon Taffer’s vision for bringing a top quality experience to casual dining. This opening will help us further our goal of creating one-of-a-kind experiences for our residents, visitors and guests.”
This is the first of seven Taffer’s Tavern restaurants to be operated by Boston natives Marc Magerman and Peter Weber of 8G Hospitality Associates LLC. They wanted the ideal location for the new Taffer’s Tavern restaurant to match the unique offering of the restaurant.

“Now, Taffer’s Tavern will become an essential part of the fabric of this vibrant community, front and center on Arsenal Street welcoming people to the neighborhood.”
Taffer’s Tavern will be joined by a variety of restaurants in the Arsenal Yards area, including the likes of Tori Jio, Jason Santos’ Buttermilk & Bourbon, Condesa Restaurante & Tequila Bar and many more.
Taffer’s Tavern has been designed with customer safety at the forefront alongside the most recent technological innovations.

Taffer’s Tavern has partnered up with FranSmart, a leading franchise development company behind the growth of brands such as QDOBA Mexican Grill and Five Guys Burger and Fries.
