Ravipati has been appointed as the president and area representative for New Jersey to lead growth strategies across the U.S.
The tax franchisor launched in the U.S. in 2012 with president Hal Gross at the helm, offering area representative and franchise opportunities across chosen states. Formerly a senior tax manager at Deloitte for 10 years, Ravipati sees potential in the role.
“I am incredibly proud to be taking on the role of president. I see huge potential for the TaxAssist Accountants business model and I’m looking forward to building and maturing the brand across the U.S.A. through the area representative model,” said Aditya Ravipati.
“Now is a good time to be launching a practice, with so many businesses needing expert advice to help and guide them post-pandemic, and I look forward to meeting with and discussing our fantastic franchise opportunity in more detail with interested parties.”
The senior vice president (SVP) of franchise development, David Paulson has been drafted in to work alongside Ravipati and support him in his new role.
“Hal joined us in May 2020 to drive the company formation and set up phase. His focus for the last 15 months has been on the legal side of disclosure, setting up TaxAssist Direct USA Inc in accordance with U.S. laws and putting the right levels of corporate governance in place. I’d like to thank him for the great work he’s done in this time,” said Paulson
“Now the set-up is complete, Hal is moving across to join our U.S. advisory board and will remain as a board director.
“We are all pleased to welcome Aditya as president. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) enrolled agent. He was a senior tax manager at Deloitte and spent 16 years managing client service relationships and tax compliance for some of the largest private equity partnership firms and high net worth individuals.
“He also holds a master’s degree in business administration. Aditiya’s background, experience and expertise will be invaluable as we drive forward with our expansion plans.”
Whilst the brand fills out its support team, Ravipati will assist franchisees with tax accounting, practice and training. He plans to join the initial training course in August and open his first location that will also act as a support center.
