Meito Middle East has won the ‘Drinks Franchise of the Year’ award from the Middle East Prestige Awards for the second year running.
The cafes are dotted across Oman and Lebanon, and is well suited for college campuses, airports, and food trucks in downtown and suburban locations.
“It’s fantastic to win the ‘Drinks Franchise of the Year’ for the second year running, and I am so proud of the Meito team. We’re passionate about producing consistently ground-breaking food and beverages using health-conscious and sustainable ingredients, such as the 100 per cent organic tea leaves that we use for our famous bubble tea. This award is a celebration of that commitment,’ commented Benjamin Götze, managing director at MEITO Franchise.
“The judges were particularly impressed by our simple but effective franchise operation, allowing us to rapidly but responsibly expand our socialize, recharge and refresh experience across the Middle East.”
The Meito Café concept was conceived when the founder took a trip to Los Angeles and tried bubble tea for the first time. Meito opened its first location in Munich, Germany in 2010 and began offering franchising options four years later in 2014.
