Through its Mexican subsidiary, Ace Hardware International Holdings, Ltd., Ace Hardware has announced the opening of its first Mexican location in Monterrey, the new unit opened on October 28, 2021. This is the first location opened under the new franchise turnkey model and the brand has plans to open a further 13 locations by the end of 2022.
The new Ace Hardware store is located at Urban Village, Avenida Eugenio Garza Sada 3431, local SA009, Colonia Arroyo Seco.
The new store will be staffed by 15 employees and will occupy over 14,000 sq. ft with 2,000 sq. ft dedicated to a showroom to show off decorative tiles, plumbing fixtures and bath accessories. Quality, consumer sought brands, such as Stihl, Big Green Egg, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Sayer, Hilti, Clark & Kensington, Bosch, Philips, Hunter, Steel Grip, and Grill Mark will be available to customers.

The franchise program in Mexico offers a variety of flexible store formats ranging from 300 square meters to 3,000 square meters and offers both Mexican and global brands to meet the needs of the home improvement consumer.
