The boutique fitness center founded by celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser has started its aggressive national expansion, with the brand’s first franchised unit opening in Cherry Creek, Denver.
AKT started in 2013, and focuses on a mixture of dancing, toning, circuit training, and HIIT workouts. The brand’s franchising opportunity launched last year, with the plan to bring Kaiser’s explosively popular regime to gym-goers all across the States.
With over 75 franchise agreements already signed, and 25 more studios expected to open by the end of 2019, AKT could be the next international name in boutique fitness.
“The opening of the first AKT franchise in Denver marks the beginning of an exciting new era for the company,” said President Melissa Chordock. “We cannot wait for people across the country to finally experience AKT’s life-changing workouts firsthand, as well as the sense of community and inspiration that each studio cultivates.”
The brand’s “five pillars of results, passion, community, rhythm, and badassery” appeal to a millennial market looking to join a welcoming fitness group with progress in mind. Workouts align with the modern trend of incorporating a nightclub feel to proceedings, and with membership rates ranging from $140-$360 per month, there are options for all levels of commitment.
AKT is looking to expand across all 50 states in the U.S, and investment for a franchise ranges from $332,500-$499-500.
