BBQ Holdings acquires the family-concept restaurant Village Inn and the pie and comfort concept restaurant Bakers Square, with a combined portfolio of 147 franchise and company-owned stores.
The multi-brand restaurant company behind Granite City Food & Brewery and Famous Dave’s has acquired Baker’s Square and Village Inn for an estimated $13.5m. While Baker’s Square owns 12 locations itself, Village Inn owns 21 locations and a further 115 franchised locations across 18 states, nationwide.

Village Inn was founded in 1958 and Baker’s Square has been in operation since 1969.
