The Southern Californian chicken restaurant with a cult-like following gears up for domestic – and international – growth.
Bruxie, the go-to restaurant for your delectable fried chicken and waffle sandwich needs, has announced a vast franchise opportunity that it hopes will introduce entirely new markets to its craveable menu of sweet and savory treats.
Despite being a relatively new opportunity, the Bruxie franchise program has already signed up a handful of domestic and international franchisees, with 18 U.S. locations in the pipeline, and 24 global developments underway. Growth for the brand will be exciting but measured, as it plans to open six to 10 new locations in 2020, with a total of 120 in operation over the next five years.
“Our model is successful because we are authentic to our brand and our customers enjoy that type of dedication to our product,” said John Ramsay, VP of franchise development. “Our menu items cater to all demographics, and we have something for everyone on our menu.”
Visiting the Bruxie website on an empty stomach could be a bad idea, because its wide selection of chicken sandwiches, waffle sandwiches, and tongue-in-cheek sides (‘Angry Mac & Cheese’ or ‘Irish Nachos’, anyone?) might leave you salivating.
“Our menu is full of unique and distinct flavors and our customers love the originality of our product,” said Ramsay. “Our customers keep coming back because they know they’ll find the varieties of flavor that they have been craving; we make food for people who seek out unique offerings, and we’re eager to grow our loyal Bruxie following.”
For consistent growth, Bruxie is seeking qualified multi-unit franchisees who believe its chicken and waffle combo will thrive in their market. The initial franchise fee sits at $35,000, and an initial investment for one 400-1,800 square-food location will set investors back anywhere from $600,000 to $800,000.
