Chicken Salad Chick, the chicken salad concept, is looking back on the strong 2021 the brand had, and is also creating plans for further expansion in 2022. In 2021, the brand opened over 30 locations and awarded 32 franchise agreements, 19 of the agreements were awarded in Q4. It also celebrated the opening of its 200th location, and is now laying plans for significant growth across the Midwest.
A five-unit deal signed in Florida, an eight-unit deal in San Antonio, a three-unit deal in Greater Chicago and a five-unit deal in Colorado are some of the notable agreements the brand has signed recently. Deals signed in Missouri indicated the brand’s desire to bring 50 locations to the Midwest within the next four years.

Chicken Salad Chick is on track to open over 50 locations in 2022, and is planning on signing a further 60 for locations across the Midwest and on the East Coast. The brand’s ultimate goal is to have 500 locations open and in operation by 2025.
