The experienced food processor is entering the franchise industry, with ambitious plans for 2021.
China Xiangtai Food Co., Ltd., a growing organization involved with food processing, has announced the upcoming launch of its brand-new hot pot restaurant franchise: Xiangtai Fresh Beef Hot Pot (PLIN).
The new brand will launch with a flagship location in Chongqing, a megacity in southwest China, and Xiangtai plans to expand its presence to 200 restaurants by the end of 2021.
“We are excited about the launch of our hot pot restaurant franchise,” said Ms. Zeshu Dai, chairwoman and CEO of China Xiangtai Food Co., Ltd. “We hope to meet the robust demand by supplying fresh and flavorful meat products on the retail level, thus creating additional revenue channels.”
China Xiangtai Food Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in pork processing, but the organization’s operations also span key sections of the processing value chain, including slaughtering, packing, distribution, and wholesale. As well as pork, the group offers other fresh and processed meat products, including beef, lamb, and poultries.
“Being competitive in the hot pot business requires high-quality food supplies and extensive food industry experience, which are our strengths,” said Ms. Dai. “We believe PLIN has tremendous potential and this new business will position the company to create long-term value.”
