College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving has announced the signing of a franchise agreement with father and son duo, Mark and Ahmmon Richards. With the addition of this franchise to Florida, it marks it as the most active territory for the College Hunks brand. The site will be run by father and son together, with full control over operations and the aim to turn the franchise into a multi-million-dollar site.
Ahmmon enjoyed a highly successful high school football career and committed to the University of Miami in 2016. However, he suffered a career-ending neck injury and was unable to continue playing football. Three years later, he was made aware of the opportunity with College HUNKS, and after investigating the opportunity with his father, became a College HUNKS franchisee.
“This industry reminds me a lot of being in a football atmosphere, and the core values of the company reason resonated with me,” said Ahmmon.
“It was really a no-brainer at that point. I get to run a business with my dad and start a new chapter of my life in the city I love.”
Ahmmon has been key in utilizing the NIL (name, image and likeness) deals with popular college-level athletes across Miami to widen the franchise landscape for the brand, such as D’Eriq King and Bubba Bolden. He plans to grow the brand and his operations through more NIL deals.
The Miami location, on top of making profits, aims to support a wide variety of charitable causes that require addressing. This is in line with the brand’s wider mission as a purpose-driven company that is dedicated to serving communities.
“When I first met Ahmmon, it became clear to me that he was a perfect match for our brand,” said Omar Soliman, co-founder of College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving.
“Ahmmon is the living embodiment of our company’s core values. Having him on board is incredibly beneficial for our brand as a whole and I can think of no better individual to lead the charge for our expansion in Miami.”
