Californian liquid nitrogen ice cream concept Creamistry has opened its first franchised outlet in China, spearheading a plan to open 100 locations over the coming four years. The first store, which is owned by HZ America Corp, is situated in Chengdu.
With currently more than 55 successful locations operating across the United States, which has acquired the rights to the Greater China Region.
Jay Yim, Founder and CEO of Creamistry said, “Our experience with premium quality product, coupled with the operations infrastructure in place, positions us perfectly to get Creamistry up and running in China. As we continue to grow, we look forward to opening 100 Creamistry locations and beyond.”
Flavors will be adapted to appeal to local tastes and Creamistry’s offering for the region include Spicy Yolk, made with salty duck egg yolk, Chengdu, which uses a Chinese liquor called Luzhou Laojiao, and Rice Wine.
Founded in 2013, Creamistry now has 55 locations operating in the United States.
