The barbeque restaurant franchise is running the initiative through August 30.
Dickey’s Barbeque Pit is giving back to the first responders, active military personnel, and veterans by running a prize draw through August 30, with two grand prizes of a voucher redeemable towards a Dickey’s Barbeque Restaurant U.S. franchise fee; usually priced at $20,000.
“One of the things you need to be successful in the restaurant industry is a passion for serving others,” said Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We look forward to thanking our community heroes who have worked tirelessly to serve and protect others by giving them an unprecedented entrepreneurial opportunity to serve in a new and exciting capacity.”
This charitable opportunity comes after Dickey’s recently launched its Big Yellow Cup drive, where customers can purchase a limited-edition Big Yellow Cup, and a portion of the proceeds generated will go toward The Dickey Foundation. This charitable arm of the franchise provides safety equipment such as helmets, shields, and respiratory masks to first responders.
