Opening at the end of October, this milestone location exemplifies the ongoing growth of the brand.
European Wax Center (EWC), a U.S.-based wax franchise founded in 2004, has opened its 800th center. Located in Dallas, Texas, the milestone site is an example of this year’s ongoing demand and growth of the beauty brand.
“As our 800th center opens while in the midst of an accelerated growth plan and a global pandemic, we could not be prouder of our continued success,” said David Berg, CEO of European Wax Center. “Despite the many challenges our business faced this year with temporary closures, we’ve come out stronger than ever. We take pride in our growth of centers and of our strict hygiene regulations across the board. This is an incredible brand – strong, bold, united and our business model remains solid, proven, and resilient.”
Since the beginning of 2020, EWC has opened 42 new centers across the U.S. Safety remains a priority at all of these new locations and EWC’s existing portfolio, with rigorous hygiene and social distancing standards maintained across its entire network.

To celebrate the new opening, all Dallas Fort Worth EWC locations are celebrating for eight days, with giveaways and an 8 per cent discount on any product or service from October 28 until November 4.
“I was a European Wax Center guest long before I was a franchisee,” said Mariam Abdo, the brand’s newest franchisee. “I always admired the hygienic, efficient, and skilled services I received. This inspired me to open my own centers. I’m proud to be opening European Wax Center’s 800th location and am very excited about the West Village-Uptown location. It’s a vibrant area of Dallas and home to many small businesses.”
