Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), will host the seventh edition of the International Franchise Exhibition (IFE) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on the 22nd and 23rd October 2019.
Wide range of sectors
IFE, organized in strategic partnership with Emirates Association for Franchise Development, provides a unique opportunity for both local and international companies to present their brands to the UAE market, capitalize on the growth of the franchise sector, and expand business in the Middle East. The exhibition will host over 100 international and local exhibitors from over 15 different sectors including tourism and leisure, oil and gas, real estate, fashion, hospitality, IT, financial institutions, trade, transport, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, education, food and beverage, retail, education and training, safety and security, manufacturing, and maintenance. Attendees will be joined by franchise societies, associations, and experts from various countries around the world.
H.E. Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, director-general of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said: “The International Franchise Exhibition is part of the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s efforts to develop and support the growing franchise economy and create an investment and business environment to facilitate the success of projects. The aim of the exhibition is to spread awareness and knowledge about franchising and the potential investment opportunities within the franchise sector in the UAE, which has become one of the poles of the modern economy.”
He added: “Franchising is an aggressively competitive industry and also a key business tool for investors and entrepreneurs. The event aims to create opportunities for successful collaborations between foreign companies, Emirati business entrepreneurs, and owners of small and medium enterprises. It will take a closer look at the best experiments and international practices in franchising, in cooperation with international franchising companies.”
Meet the professionals
The event provides exhibitors with an opportunity to meet face to face with business investors in the high demand market, and showcase innovative and unique business concepts to prospective franchisees, SMEs, and entrepreneurs. Attendees can also network with international franchise experts to develop and strengthen their brand in the Middle East region.
The two-day event will also hold exclusive educational workshop sessions for business owners and potential investors, to help to understand the franchise economy and where they fit best in a variety of franchises.
