What started as an executive ‘meeting of the minds’ is now an accessible peer network for franchisors to collaborate and thrive.
ZorForum has launched as a new resource for franchisors – both emerging and established – which promotes the sharing of knowledge and expertise through dedicated networking and support channels.
Groups of up to 10 members meet virtually once a month for a half-day information sharing session on the platform, overseen by that group’s specific chair. The chair is an experienced franchising executive of an established franchisor, and is responsible for recruiting, moderating, and supporting their individual group. One-on-one coaching is also available if required.
The ZorForum platform is the brainchild of Dave Pazgan, the former president for accessibility franchise 101 Mobility and founder and CEO of Thrive Brands. The idea originally started as a ‘meeting of the minds’ in 2013, and has now grown into a unique, growth-promoting tool.
“After building 101 Mobility to over 80 locations, I decided it was time to give back,” said Pazgan. “So, with the encouragement of my group members, I founded ZorForum, a community built specifically for franchisors and the unique challenges they face. I derived so much value from my participation in the group that I want to bring the platform to the franchisor community so that others can get the same benefit.”
Backed by a ‘love it or leave it’ guarantee, membership to ZorForum starts at $495 per month with no long-term commitment. The platform has already proven popular among franchisors, including Omar Soliman, CEO and co-founder of College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving: “The forum has truly been a huge part of our success as a brand and a company. It’s also been instrumental to my growth as a leader, especially as someone involved in franchising. It’s always amazed me that something like this didn’t already exist because it’s much needed.”
ZorForum currently has an active userbase located in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, and plans to expand to over 100 members by January 2021.
