Franchise Expo Paris, organized by the French Franchise Federation (fff) and Reed Expositions France, should have taken place last March for its 39th edition. It has been postponed to October 4-7 in Paris.
Prioritizing safety
This edition will be like no other before. The show team is doing all it can to make the four days run as smoothly as possible. The health and safety of customers and visitors are of paramount importance to Franchise Expo Paris, and the show is dedicated to ensuring attendees can do business in a safe environment.
Multiple measures will be implemented: a system to manage and regulate the flow of foot traffic; masks compulsory for everyone; hand sanitizers available in different locations on-site; enhanced cleaning measures; and redesigned meeting spaces and conference rooms.
A considerable turnout
350 French and international exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in October, and there will be more to come. Among them, you will be able to discover 80 new franchise concepts. Indeed, the franchising model has proven its efficiency in France during the COVID-19 crisis. According to a post-lockdown survey from the fff, 68.5 per cent of franchisors and franchisees thought that they would navigate the crisis successfully.
“The health and safety of customers and visitors are of paramount importance”
100 conferences and workshops will also populate the four-day event, with essential themes on how to start one’s business, create a business model, convince your banker, and other timely subjects, such as how to kickstart your business after the crisis, and how COVID-19 has changed the franchising model.
Flexible attendance
According to a study of 2,500 pre-registered visitors, 86 per cent are still planning on coming to Franchise Expo Paris in October. More than 30,000 French and international visitors are expected with various profiles: entrepreneurs, employees wishing to change careers, future franchisees, students, future franchisors, master franchisees, and investors.
As the French borders are still not open to all countries, Franchise Expo Paris has a matchmaking platform that enables visitors who cannot physically attend the show to organize online video meetings with the exhibitors throughout the four days of the event. To do so, the visitors have to order their badge online, agree to have access to the MyFranchise platform, and start planning their online meetings.
All visitors and exhibitors are encouraged to organize as much as possible their visit on the show. Save the date, and order your badge on the show’s official website using the code: PAI2EE.
