The PBA Titus Center for Franchising has announced the newest member of its advisory board, Ellen Rohr. Rohr is the president of the Zoom Drain franchise brand and has devoted her career to helping people learn the basics of business and “how to focus on the few things that have the biggest impact.” She has authored four best-selling business books and regularly contributes to industry publications.
The advisory board is now comprised of 67 franchise executives representing 53 companies. Since the Titus Center’s opening in 2017, the advisory board has been essential in advancing the center’s mission, which is to engage, educate and inspire current and future franchise leaders.
“Ellen is a great inspiration not only for franchisees and franchisors, but also for our students at PBA. We’re excited to welcome Ellen to our campus and give our students the opportunity to learn from her,” said Dr. John P. Hayes, CFE, director of the Titus Center and Titus Chair for franchise leadership at PBA.
Rohr’s personal mission is to “build extraordinary businesses to expand peace prosperity, and freedom across the planet.” Starting out as a plumber’s wife, she is now the president of a home service company that grew from zero to $40m in franchise sales and 47 locations over two years. Her success and desire to go on that journey again led her to create Zoom Drain Franchise LLC with the assistance of her partners and MPK Equity investors.
“I’m delighted to join the Titus Center advisory board and hope to be of service to those developing careers in franchising. I know I’ll learn a lot, too, from this dynamic, accomplished group of leaders,” said Rohr.
