The international fast-casual brand has reached the landmark following the launch of its new restaurant in Peterborough.
German Doner Kebab has opened 13 new restaurants in the U.K. during the coronavirus pandemic, creating in the region of 500 jobs throughout the country. Key new locations already opened in 2020 include Nottingham, Bradford and additional sites in London and Edinburgh.
The brand is known for “revolutionizing the kebab”, preparing them using premium and lean meats and fresh local vegetables, served in handmade toasted breads with signature sauces.
Now employing over 1,500 people throughout the country, the brand will have opened 50 new restaurants in the U.K. during the past three years and boasts a development pipeline of 350 franchise units over the next seven years.

Based in Glasgow, Scotland, German Doner Kebab is growing at pace, with 73 restaurants in U.K., Europe and Middle East, and now rapidly expanding in the U.S., Canada, Saudi Arabia and Ireland.
