This announcement comes just before the FAC hosts several franchise-focused workshops in October and November.
Global Franchise magazine has partnered with Australian-based Franchise Advisory Centre, to promote best practice franchise education to the international franchise community.
The Franchise Advisory Centre is Australia’s leading franchise education provider to system founders, senior franchise executives, and master franchisees, and is an endorsed Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) education provider.
Founded in 2004 by Jason Gehrke, an experienced franchise executive and with more 30 years of experience in the sector, the Franchise Advisory Centre has delivered high-level workshops and seminars for franchisors in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Canada, and the United States on a wide range of franchising best practice topics.
In late October and early November, the Franchise Advisory Centre will be conducting a series of five online and highly interactive workshops over three weeks worth up to 600 CFE education credits.
The workshops will cover core franchisor functions, including franchise recruitment and resales, monitoring and managing the performance of franchisees, maximizing franchisee engagement through properly-formed franchise advisory councils (FAC’s), and well-executed franchise meetings and conferences.
The workshops will be conducted in two-hour blocks from 9 am until 11 am (CT), over two or four days each on the following topics:
How to organize a great franchise conference – October 20 & 21 (two-part series)
Improving Franchise Advisory Councils – October 22 & 23 (two-part series)
Effective Franchise Recruitment – October 27 – 31 (four-part series)
Managing Franchisee Underperformance – November 3 & 4 (two-part series)
Managing Franchise Resales – November 5 & 6 (two-part series)
Attendance at all five workshops will generate 600 CFE education credits
The online workshops will be presented by Jason Gehrke, who in addition to being a leading franchise educator is also a non-executive director of two retail chains in Australia and New Zealand, a past chairman of the World Franchise Council, a former award-winning franchise CEO, and longstanding member of an Australian government franchising advisory panel.
Australia is the most heavily regulated franchising environment in the world, with the second-highest concentration of franchise brands per head of population, which has resulted in the development of world-class practices in franchise management and operation for the sector to continue to thrive.
