Andrew Brettesani has held a number of managerial roles within HSBC, including his last role as Senior Area Commercial director, leading the largest commercial banking team in the U.K. out of HSBC Headquarters in Canary Wharf with a portfolio of some 4,000 SME clients.
Torben Brodersen is the CEO of the German Franchise Association. The association is the umbrella organization for the German franchise economy, which has around 300 member companies. The association is the representative for the interest of the companies in the franchise economy – for nearly 40 years, the community has represented both franchisors and franchisees.
Nicola Broadhurst specializes in franchising and assisting businesses to scale up and expand through commercial exploitation of intellectual property. Her practice has a particular emphasis on advising on international expansion through franchising including direct-unit franchising, master franchising and area development, as well as assisting international businesses looking to enter the UK market.
A veteran in the franchise industry, Sherry McNeil has helped a wide range of systems in a variety of categories, from new and emerging franchise concepts to iconic franchise brands such as Little Caesars, Boston Pizza, Dairy Queen, and YUM Brands, to grow and thrive as both a consultant and in executive leadership positions.
Chantal Zimmer is the Executive Director of the French Franchise Federation. For almost 35 years she has been involved in the franchise industry as the head of the federation. During those years she has been involved in the European Franchise Federation – particularly with its European Code of Ethics. She is also the founding member of the World Franchise Council, where she has contributed to the writing of the principles of ethics.
