The luxury hotel is the fifth Grand Hyatt-branded site in the Middle East.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced yet another milestone opening for the organization, with the launch of Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences being the first Grand Hyatt-branded location in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the fifth within the Middle East.
The 368-room luxury hotel is situated in the commercial and retail heart of Al Khobar, with a connecting bridge to the Al Rashid Mall.

As one of the fastest-growing tourism destinations in the world, Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences realizes the Saudi Arabian government’s Vision 2030, which is striving to attract further international guests into the region.
The hotel’s opening will be phased, beginning now with 120 guestrooms and 20 residences. Other elements of this first phase include the opening of all-day dining facilities, the lobby lounge, banquet halls, a fitness center, and a spa. The remaining rooms and two restaurants are set to open in February 2021, with the third phase and remaining rooms opening in March 2021.
