JAN-PRO Cleaning and Disinfecting has announced it will be branching out into Puerto Rico and will be run by Allan Johnson and Travis Williams.
The expansion is the next step in making commercial spaces cleaner and safer for visitors whilst also boosting the local economy through the addition of quality jobs.
Travis, the central Connecticut regional developer for JAN-PRO Cleaning and Disinfecting, says: “In our Connecticut market, the majority of the current JAN-PRO Cleaning and Disinfecting certified business owners provide coaching, certification and administrative support to Puerto Rico. Those ties will be the foundation for establishing a solid network of CBOs.
“Many left the island for better economic opportunities and chose to start their JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting business as a way to help support their families locally and back in Puerto Rico.”
Allan and Travis are excited to expand into a new region of the United States and are eager to begin the process of helping a larger population of people and businesses. With the economy in Puerto Rico growing stronger by the day, the pair views the island as the perfect spot to grow their business.
Allan, the vice president of operations at JAN-PRO of central Connecticut, explains: “During a recent visit to Puerto Rico we asked Gary Bauer, JAN-PRO systems international brand president, who the Puerto Rico JAN-PRO franchise developer was, as we were thinking that we might meet him or her during our visit. He replied that there isn’t one, the territory is available.
“While there, we saw the amount of infrastructure rebuild and investment on the island and viewed Puerto Rico as an excellent opportunity to potentially expand and grow JAN-PRO Cleaning and Disinfecting. Shortly thereafter, we contacted Gary and told him we are interested in Puerto Rico.”
Over the past 31 years, the brand has been providing cleaning and disinfecting services across the USA and other international markets, and has provided opportunities for certified franchisees to start their own business.
