The junk removal and hauling franchise appoints an industry professional to bolster growth efforts.
Junk King, the white-collar business management franchise in a blue-collar industry, with more than 100 franchises in the U.S. and Canada, has appointed Darlene Viering as its new vice president of franchise development.
Viering’s background as vice president of sales and vice president of customer engagement at Huntington Learning Center Franchise System has positioned her as the ideal asset for this growing brand.
“Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Junk King team and focus on franchise development efforts,” said Viering. “The brand has experienced a significant amount of growth in 10 years and achieved many milestones along the way. There is still a lot of opportunity to grow, especially with the strength of the franchise model. I’m eager to join the corporate team and help take Junk King’s lead generation tactics to the next level.”
Junk King launched its franchise system in October 2009, and has developed its model in the past decade to ensure quick start-up, with a flexible, easily scalable model. The brand has also expanded into the dumpster sector, offering additional revenues to franchisees.
“Darlene has spent more than 25 years of her career running national call centers and franchise development teams,” said Michael Andreacchi, CEO of Junk King. “In these last few weeks that she has worked with us, her leadership skills and fresh perspective has reinvigorated our franchise development efforts. We’re excited to have her be a part of the team as we continue working towards our growth goals.”
