The master franchise agreement signed with three new franchises, Antonio González, Luis Fernando Trujillo, and Mourad Chouiakh, grants all exclusive rights to develop Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) in Colombia, Ecuador and Morocco respectively.
Antonio is currently based in Chile. With an extensive career in banking, he is a skilled salesman, human resources consultant, and neuro-linguistic programming coach. Antonio already owns a Mail Boxes Etc. franchise in Chile and decided to further expand his business and become a master franchisee in Colombia.
“Being a master franchisee of MBE makes me very proud,” he said. “We are now part of a successful worldwide company and will have the opportunity to develop the business in Colombia, forming a network of entrepreneurs with whom we will focus on creating profitable businesses and generating comprehensive solutions with a high and differentiated level of customer service. We have a lot of work to do in the coming years.”
With a long history in freight forwarding and transport in Ecuador, Luis is a VP at Grupo Holco. With a career spanning over 20 years, he decided to expand the MBE offer and become a Mail Boxes Etc. master franchisee for Ecuador. Luis pointed out that Grupo HOLCO of Ecuador is excited to become the newest member of the Mail Boxes Etc. family.
“We look forward to opening operations in our territory after being selected as master franchisees. Our own knowledge of the Ecuadorian territory in the logistics sector, plus, the vast expertise of MBE in the courier and parcel market make this union something promising and new for the Ecuadorian market. MBE Ecuador is born!” he said.
Based in Casablanca and with a career spanning over 30 years, Mourad has held leadership positions in the banking and automotive industries and decided to become the founder and general manager of Mail Boxes Etc. Morocco.
Giuseppe Bergonzi, general manager of worldwide development, said: “This new partnership with the three distinguished franchise business partners speaks volumes about every positive impact Mail Boxes Etc. is committed to.”
Giuseppe further added that globally the franchise business is evolving very fast, particularly post-COVID. “In this situation, our new master franchise partners will be able to maximize business impact, providing added value services in e-commerce, fulfillment, shipping, and marketing solutions to SMBs and consumers,” he explained.
“We do not operate in silos; the wellbeing of our communities matters because we can boost the economy when great local entrepreneurs join our partners in furthering the expanding mission of Mail Boxes Etc.”
The brand is open to evaluating applications for new master franchise partnerships.
