MBE Worldwide has announced the acquisition of a majority share ownership of the U.K.-based delivery, courier and logistics provider, World Options. The British brand has over 120 franchisees across the U.K., U.S., Australia, the Netherlands and Belgium.
MBE Worldwide is a leading brand in its sector and provides services, including e-commerce, fulfillment, shipping, marketing and print solutions to SMBs and consumers. In 2021, MBE served over one million customers, generating $1.2bn of system-wide sales through its 2,900-plus service centers in 53 countries. $28.5bn of gross merchandise value traded through its PrestaShop e-commerce solutions.
World Options is a tech-based shipping provider that services over 10,000 small to medium businesses, from small to large freight and both domestically and internationally. The brand operates through a network of agents and franchisees across the U.K., U.S., Australia, the Netherlands and Belgium.
This acquisition represents the scale of MBE’s ambitions by adding another strong network of to its overall system.
