Fast-casual concept MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes has opened its second restaurant in Orlando, with plans to roll out its third in July.
The international burger franchise brand is planning to bring an additional six locations to the greater Orlando area, creating more than 200 jobs.
The new franchisees, Angel and Sebnem Flores, frequently visited the Walnut Creek, California MOOYAH branch, where they fell in love with the brand’s dining experience.
Angel Flores said: “We know from our very first visit; first bite of the burger; first sip of the shake; first reach into the family-size fries that this is a special place. Our first experience convinced us it would not be our last.”
After downloading the MOOYAH mobile app and looking at the franchise opportunities it showcased, the couple went on to meet the corporate team, and signed to bring four locations to Florida.
Their restaurant is one of 14 MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes locations opening in 2020 featuring a new design. The fresh store format includes seating zones created for community dining, third-party delivery and pickup shelving area, closed kitchens, and digital menu boards, while the overall brand has experienced a refreshed logo.
Tony Darden, president of MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, said: “We are looking forward to expanding our presence across Orlando with these great franchise owners. As a top tourist destination in the U.S., we are hopeful that guests will fall in love with our brand and want to become franchise owners in their hometowns, helping expand the MOOYAH footprint across North America.”
