The Spanish born Mr Jeff has launched its first U.S.A. based laundry hub in Queens, New York.
The laundry system designed by three Spanish entrepreneurs has opened its first flagship hub inside a Clean Rite in Queens, New York. Mr Jeff’s tech-based laundry pick-up and delivery system aims to provide customers with a 24-hour turnaround service that includes cleaning, folding and delivery.
Mr Jeff has plans to open many more locations across the country in 2021, with another New York location in the Flatlands in August. Texas and Florida are on course to have their own Mr Jeff franchisees in operation by mid-October.
This follows on from an announcement made in mid-May that Mr Jeff had entered into a partnership with Clean Rite to develop their laundry hubs inside chosen Clean Rite locations. Clean-Rite have over 200 locations across the U.S.A., mostly in densely populated urban areas.
“The laundry industry here in the United States was long overdue for innovation,” said Peter Stern, senior vice president of Clean Rite, who has also invested in Mr Jeff.
“Through integration with our existing technology platform Cents, Mr Jeff will provide Clean Rite customers with additional conveniences, including delivery and pick up services through the Mr Jeff app, wet and dry cleaning, ironing, pressing and Mr Jeff monthly membership options.”
Mr Jeff was founded in Valencia in 2015 by three entrepreneurs and has grown to over 30 countries around the world.
