A previous president of FOCUS Brands International has bought a Tropical Smoothie Café franchise. Michael Shattuck is the proud owner of a new Tropical Smoothie Café located at 1630 Scenic Highway North, in Snellville, GA.
Atlanta resident Shattuck racked up 40 year experience before joining fast casual concept Tropical Smoothie Café a year ago. A multi-unit operation, he is expected to open six locations in Gwinnett County.
Shattuck said, “I am a strong proponent of the franchise business model and believe in the power of a group of driven individuals focused on the development of a brand, Tropical Smoothie has a great product, strong positioning and a value system I believe in.”
