The optical retail brand has partnered with a multi-unit group.
My Eyelab, a burgeoning optical retail brand founded in 2013, has announced that it will be opening eight new stores throughout the Austin and Fort Worth markets of Texas, following a partnership with a trio of three entrepreneurs: Victor Mankarious, Sameh Bekhit and Arash Ghanbari.
“We are excited to be joining a brand that has great unit economics, low start-up costs, and low ongoing operating costs with an intent on serving a wide array of consumers looking for a dependable place to find a pair of glasses, contacts, and other eyewear,” said Arash Ghanbari, a UT Dallas MBA graduate and new My Eyelab partner. “This is a game-changing brand which will be at the forefront of tele-medicine for optical needs, and we believe telehealth to be a huge part of the future.”
The eight markets that My Eyelab will be coming to throughout Austin and Fort Worth include Burleson, Weatherford, Lake Worth, Prosper, Round Rock, San Marcos, Crestview, and Georgetown.
In addition to these new stores, My Eyelab also recently signed deals to bring its retail offering to Oklahoma City, Dallas, and Atlanta. With 47 franchised stores currently open, the brand is on track to have 55 operating by the end of the year, and has a total of 23 units currently in development.
