Toronto’s Yonge Street is to play host to three new Orangetheory Fitness franchises. The company already operates more than 70 fitness studios nationwide and expects to have opened over 100 units – mainly in Ontario and Quebec – by the end of 2018.
Hifa Maleki, vice-president (VP) of franchise development and operations for Orangetheory Canada said, “The tremendous success we’ve had stems from entering the market at just the right time. We really owe the credit of our wildly successful past few years to our members. On average, they visit the studio two to three times per week and act as unofficial ambassadors. In fact, 95 per cent of our franchisees were members first.
