Having recently announced additions to the World Franchise Network including the Franchise Association of South Africa and the Finnish Franchising Association, Global Franchise is overjoyed to welcome yet another prestigious franchise organization: the Polish Franchise Organization.
The World Franchise Network was formed in 2020 with the mission to gather franchise associations and trade bodies all under one roof, in order to encourage and foster greater connectivity between franchising nations.
By adding the Polish Franchise Organization to the network, Global Franchise can work more closely with a recognized and well-respected voice of Polish franchising, strengthening our coverage of the franchise model in this exciting market and throughout Europe.
Speaking about the partnership, Kieran McLoone, editor of Global Franchise, said: “The Polish Franchise Organization has been the authoritative voice of Polish franchising for over 20 years, so it’s a pleasure to be able to welcome the Organization into the growing World Franchise Network fold.
“Considering the immense growth of the Polish franchise market in those two decades, it’s very exciting to see how this new partnership will continue to expand the country’s thriving franchise community.”
The Polish Franchise Organization was founded in 2000, and closely aligns itself with the European Code of Ethics for Franchising. PFO’s mission is to create the best possible conditions for the development of franchising in Poland.
The PFO educates the participants of the market about franchising, spreading the best practices from leading franchising brands, and organizing workshops for franchisors to make them more aware and informed about the franchise situation and opportunities of development in Poland.
It is also a source of information and contacts for foreign franchisors who want to enter the Polish market. Throughout the almost 20 years of the organization’s existence, the Polish franchise market has increased from 95 to about 1,300 franchise brands.
Monika Dąbrowska, chairman of the Polish Franchise Organization, said: “Joining the World Franchise Network is an important honor for us and will allow us to develop contacts in the world for the benefit of our members as well. We are very pleased to be part of World Franchise Network.”
As part of the partnership, Global Franchise works closely with recognized associations when covering their respective territories, sharing crucial intel and insight to ensure readers are clued up with up-to-date industry stats, regulatory updates, and more.
