In his new role, Noyes will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Potbelly has announced the appointment of Adam Noyes as the sandwich franchise brand’s new chief operations officer, effective as of August 28, 2020. Noyes’ role will also incorporate the responsibilities of the previous chief restaurant operations officer, which will be vacated September 4.
In his new role, Noyes will focus on staffing, training, and the development of Potbelly’s people. His priority will be on delivering premium customer experiences that guarantee return service.
“Adam is a seasoned restaurant operations leader who possesses the combination of unique skills and experience that are a perfect fit for Potbelly at this stage of our turnaround, as well as our next stage of growth,” said Bob Wright, president and CEO of Potbelly. “Adam’s experience in the restaurant space means deep knowledge of the customer experience and team member needs from the bottom up. He has successfully led company and franchise operations at every level. In addition to his operations leadership depth, Adam brings a breadth of talent in training, operations support, supply chain, and technology.”
Across his more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Noyes has worked in a variety of senior leadership roles at brands like Checkers and Rally’s Restaurants. During this time, he tripled EBITDA in company-owned restaurants from 2010 to 2016, refined back-office system activation, and optimized supply chain processes to deliver millions of dollars in savings.
