The 30-year franchising veteran will be pivotal in guiding QDOBA’s ongoing expansion.
QDOBA Mexican Eats, the Mexican restaurant franchise with over 730 locations in the U.S. and Canada, has announced the promotion of Eric Williams to vice president of franchise and license operations.
Williams came to QDOBA in October 2019 with over 30 years of food service experience, including restaurant and franchise operations, as well as multi-unit franchise ownership. Prior to joining QDOBA, Williams served as COO for CKE Restaurant Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.
“I am proud to have Eric on my staff and look forward to many years of prosperity and growth for the QDOBA franchise and licensed businesses under his leadership,” said Keith Guilbault, CEO of QDOBA. “He brings a wealth of industry experience that will prove valuable in helping both our new and existing franchise owners succeed, especially in the current business climate.”
In his new role, Williams will directly support current QDOBA franchisees in running their business, and will be instrumental in ensuring each location’s sustainable success.
“It’s a privilege to work with an exceptional group of franchisees who believe in QDOBA’s mission of bringing flavor to people’s lives,” said Williams. “There is tremendous growth potential for QDOBA within the franchise space and I am excited for this next chapter.”
