QDOBA Mexican Eats, the Mexican fast-casual concept, has announced the signing of a multi-unit deal in Cleveland to bring 10 locations to the Geauga, Lake, Portage, Stark, Summit and Cuyahoga counties.
QDOBA has signed with OM Ohio Queso, Inc., a restaurant operator run by Amit Patel, Kalpesh Patel and Amanda Ristic. The group has over two decades of restaurant operations experience, with brands ranging from Dunkin’ to Wingstop.
“There is no denying that the Mexican restaurant sector is hot right now, and I don’t think that heat will ever die down,” said Amit Patel.
“Choosing QDOBA was a simple process for us. We knew that to join a growing segment we needed to partner with a brand equipped with extensive corporate support, flexible restaurant formats and extensive national brand recognition – QDOBA checked all of those boxes.”
QDOBA has set itself an aggressive growth strategy and has plans to hit 2,000 units through a mix of existing franchisees adding more units, signing new franchise agreements, and continuing corporate development.
The brand also offers multiple footprint options for franchisees, that allow the brand to work in traditional and non-traditional locations. Its efficient and streamlined buildouts help reduce construction costs for the franchisee.
