The Romanian franchise market is set to double over the next five years, according t0 the Ziarul Financiar of romania-insider.com.
Some 400 business concepts make up the present franchise market in Romania, which is worth € 3bn. Scaling up through franchising is a popular method of growth in the country. Around 60% of franchises are international brands.
Paul Voicu, managing partner franchise consultants francize.ro, said, “There is room for growth in all sectors, but the preferred areas are HoReCa and services, where the growth is faster.”
