Slim Chickens, the better chicken franchise, has announced the signing of a multi-unit deal in South Carolina for nine new locations. The brand signed the deal with Larry and Jody Chandler who will bring Slim Chickens to cities across the state as well as Myrtle Beach, Florence and Charleston.

“Not only do they have a great vision, they also have top-notch food that people in our community will love.”
The uncle-nephew duo is highly experienced restaurant owners and operators, with 30 Firehouse Subs to their names throughout North and South Carolina. They found Slim Chickens’ values to closely align with theirs, and were motivated to go ahead with the brand.
“Larry and Jody’s deep operational experience within the restaurant industry will allow their new locations to become absolute hits,” said Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens.

Slim Chickens has signed numerous multi-unit deals throughout the year in multiple states and cities, including Idaho/Oregon, Iowa, Dallas, Ohio and Kentucky. The brand most recently appointed industry veteran, Christina Vaughan, as its new senior vice president of operations. Slim Chickens also recently opened another international location in Nottingham, U.K.
