Slim Chickens has announced the opening of its new restaurant in Nottingham, which will feature dine-in and drive-thru services. The new location will be operated by the experienced franchisee, Boparan Restaurant Group.
“Boparan Restaurant Group has repeatedly proven that people in England love our tasty food and the southern comfort that our restaurants bring,” said Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens.
“The locations they have opened throughout the United Kingdom have become a go-to mealtime destination –– we are ecstatic that we get to partner with such a passionate franchise group.”
The brand currently has over 150 locations to its name in the U.S. and U.K., and has over 750 locations in development. Slim Chickens has expanded into a number of new regions for the first time in 2021, the brand debuted in Georgia in August.
Slim Chickens has signed numerous multi-unit deals throughout the year in multiple states and cities, including Idaho/Oregon, Iowa, Dallas, Ohio and Kentucky. The brand most recently appointed industry veteran, Christina Vaughan, as its new senior vice president of operations.
