The better chicken brand is partnering with an experienced multi-unit operator to expand its U.S. presence.
Slim Chickens, the better chicken brand with over 100 locations open throughout the U.S., U.K., and Kuwait, has announced a new franchise agreement that will bring 10 locations to key cities throughout Tennessee.
The agreement has been signed with The Davis Group, which consists of Scott, Ricky, and Cody Davis. The trio will be bringing new locations to Jackson, Knoxville, and Chattanooga, having previously partnered with David Hull, Greg Rowden, and Josh Rowden to co-own and operate Slim Chickens restaurants in Memphis and Arkansas.
“We are so excited to expand our Slim Chickens footprint in new Tennessee markets,” said Scott. “Our existing locations are performing well and with fresh markets going fast, we knew we had to jump on the opportunity.”
Scott and Cody Davis has over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, and are existing Slim Chickens franchisees who also operate more than 30 Sonic Drive-In restaurants.
“The Davis Group are exactly the type of franchise partners that we’re looking for, and with their experience, we have no doubt that their locations will be successful in Tennessee,” said Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens. “Today we have top-tier markets available and with strong sales, multi-unit operators like the Davis Group understand now is the time invest.”
Off the back of this new deal, Slim Chickens is continuing to look for experienced multi-unit developers that can take its better chicken concept to brand-new, untapped markets worldwide.
