VetFran, the IFA Franchise Education and Research Foundation’s program promoting franchise careers for military veterans, has accepted a donation of half a million dollars. The donation was made by Gordon Logan, founder and CEO of Sports Clips Haircuts. A U.S. Air Force veteran himself, Logan supports the idea that military service equips veterans with the skills and experience to make them ideal franchisees. Gordon Logan said “The two defining parts of my professional life are my service in the United States Air Force and my career in franchising. I have experienced how military service feeds into franchise success and see it every day with franchisees in the Sport Clips system. Through my support of VetFran I want to share the dream of franchise ownership with even more of my fellow veterans.”
