The new site will open in Central Park, Ang Snuol District on March 7.
The Habit Burger Grill began in Santa Barbara, California in 1969, and has since grown to over 280 locations throughout 14 states.
Now, the American franchisor is looking to expand its presence overseas with the opening of its third Cambodian restaurant in partnership with Kampuchea Tela Company, LTD.
“We are so excited to continue The Habit Burger Grill’s international expansion with our franchise partner Kampuchea Tela Company, LTD,” said Iwona Alter, chief brand officer at The Habit Burger Grill. “We look forward to creating new Habit fans by inviting them to enjoy our handcrafted chargrilled food served with best-in-class hospitality in a welcoming Southern California environment.”
At the center of The Habit’s menu is its signature Charburger, made with a fresh 100 per cent ground beef patty, chargrilled over an open flame for a smoky flavor, and topped with melted cheese, caramelized onions, hand-cut tomato slices, crisp lettuce, pickles and mayo served on a freshly toasted bun – the same way since 1969.
As well as Cambodia, The Habit Burger Grill’s international portfolio includes eight locations in China.
