Tropical Smoothie Cafe is planning to launch four locations on August 7 in Chicago
As part of rapid expansion plans, Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be opening in four locations in Chicago: Melrose Park, Lake Bluff, Lake in the Hills and Oak Lawn.
“Chicago is one of our top priority markets, so these four additional Tropical Smoothie Cafe openings are an important step in our overall growth strategy,” said Tropical Smoothie Cafe CEO Charles Watson.
“With several more area openings scheduled over the next few months, we will have approximately 25 franchised cafes in the Chicago market by year-end, with equally aggressive numbers in the pipeline slated to open in the next few years.”
Each new location will be managed by existing Tropical Smoothie Café franchisees. The Melrose Park location will be managed by Hani Houllan and Edward Joubran, who are already operating seven locations as well as other locations out of the state.
The Lake in the Hills location will be managed by Gina-Delmonico Williams and Dan Beaulieu; this pair will be opening their second location inside a year, with Dan operating several Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in Florida.
The Oak Lawn location will be managed by Roma and Chris Patel. This will be Roma’s 14th location in the state since becoming a franchisee eight years ago.
The Lake Bluff location will be managed by Salem Najjar and George Trakas, which will mark their third café in Chicago, with Salem operating several other Tropical Smoothie Cafe sites in other states.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe has grown to over 975 locations nationwide.
