FAT Brands, the owner of Twin Peaks and 16 other restaurant concepts, has announced the opening of Twin Peaks’ third location in Mexico City. The new restaurant is located at Calz Acoxpa 610 in the Coapa neighborhood, in close proximity to the famous Estadio Azteca. The new 5,000 sq. ft location opened on January 30 and will be operated by Operadora 2 Mondes, who has signed a 32-unit agreement with Twin Peaks.
“We’re very excited to bring more of our one-of-a-kind sports experience to the passionate fans of Mexico City,” said Joe Hummel, CEO of Twin Peaks.
“The south Mexico City area is the mecca of sports in the country and home to the Estadio Azteca, which has hosted everything from the Olympics to huge soccer games to NFL games. We’re glad we were able to add our acclaimed lodge to this iconic area that’s rich in sports history.”
This new opening is a result of the new agreement signed between Twin Peaks and Operadora 2 Mondes in early January. The next location from this deal is expected to open in May, as the operator has taken advantage of two sites that were already being developed prior to the signing of the agreement.
